Actually, this photo was taken back in early 2004 and that is former Lightning goalie, Nikolai Khabibulin, taking the shot while current Bolts' backstopper, John Grahame, looks on. Tonight is the night that diehard Lightning fans like myself have had circled on the calendar since they announced this season's schedule... it is Habby and his Chicago Blackhawks vs Grammer's Lightning. Yes... Khabibulin was a huge part of the Bolts winning the Cup in 2004 but... his loyalty lacking, greedy-assed self took off for the Windy City and a half million dollars more per year in pay. Tonight, the fans and players that remained will show him what we think... I have already duck taped over his name on the back of my jersey and we wont be screaming "Buuuuuuulin" but simply "Booooooooo!" Update: The Coward didn't play tonight! |
