  Saturday, Nov 27, 2004 Big Cat Rescue, tampa Yes, that is a woman (that I don't know) standing next to a Canadian Lynx. Mandi and I went to visit the Big Cat Rescue and at the end of the tour you actually get to go into a pen with this fairly tame, Canadian Lynx. This 42 acre, wildlife sanctuary is home to 200 animals, including 150+ cats representing 19 species and sub species of wild cat. All in one place you can see Lions, Tigers, Geoffroy Cats, Jungle Cats, Servals, Caracals, Snow Leopards, Bobcats, Lynx and more. A very cool experience to say the least. Needless to say, these animals were much friendlier than the animals I encountered on "Black Friday." The line-up to pay at Best Buy was over 45mins. It snaked throughout the freakin' store. I had a much easier time at Target for much better prices. The thing that sucks about getting ready to move in two weeks is that Mandi and I can't put up any of our Christmas decorations or our tree. I guess we will have to wait until we get settled into the new house. |
