  Sunday, Sept 12, 2004 Palm Trees Everywhere, downtown tampa We stayed in one of Tampa's nicest hotels this weekend, the Downtown Marriott Waterside. This shot was taken in the lobby of the Marriott which is full of palm trees. I still haven't figured out if the indoor palms are real or fake. Looks like Hurricane Ivan may spare the Bay area this time but alot can change in three days. One thing that won't change is Team Canada playing for the World Cup of Hockey in the final against Finland Tuesday night. The only thing that worries me about the Finns is their goalie, Mikka Kipprusoff. Like all other Tampa Bay Lightning fans I saw all that I wanted of this guy in the Stanley Cup Finals, hopefully Team Canada members, Brad Richards, Vinny Lecavalier, Marty St. Louis and Jarome Iginla can reveal the secrets to beating Kipper in the final.
