NFL Experience, tampa
One of the priviledges of hosting the Super Bowl is the 800,000 sq ft interactive fan festival that goes along with it... known as the NFL Experience.
When the Super Bowl came to town 9 years ago we meant to go but got stuck amongst the 2 million people watching the Gasparilla Parade downtown. So this year, we made sure to get there on opening weekend. It was very cool... from kicking extra points to having my own official Super Bowl game ball made in front of me with my own signature laser engraved. Here's a cool video from the Science Network showing how a Wilson football is made. This is what we saw at their booth.
In the last sequence of photos above, Mandi got to experience the joys of trying on and harder yet, taking off a football helmet. I'll have more photos tomorrow.
